Buying
Hover or focus an item to inspect its description, slot, bonuses, effects, rarity, and unit price before buying.
Stack listings allow you to choose any quantity from one unit up to the available stack. The confirmation reports the quantity and total cost.
Selling
Standard item sales pay a 5% Exchange fee when the listing sells.
Nexus Residents evaluate player listings during market cycles. Fairly priced goods can sell over time, bargains draw stronger demand, and prices far above the item's reference value will not be purchased by residents.
Your listing displays its current resident-demand band. Age gradually helps a reasonable listing, but it never turns an exploitative price into an eligible sale.
Two kinds of equipment
- Stack inventory is used for materials, consumables, and standard items.
- Crafted equipment is individually tracked with quality, traits, maker history, durability, and one listing state.
Price history and buy orders
The Price Archive uses completed trades instead of asking prices. Last sale, thirty-day average, range, and volume make manipulation easier to recognize.
A funded buy order escrows the full offer. Players and Nexus Residents who actually hold the item can fulfill any remaining quantity, and unused escrow returns when the order is cancelled or expires.
Masterwork auctions
Exceptional crafted equipment at quality 85 or higher can enter a timed auction. Bids are escrowed, outbid players are refunded immediately, and Nexus Residents can bid when the price fits their wealth and demand.
Merchant reputation grows from completed sales, auctions, and commissions. Its fee discount is deliberately capped at five percent so identity matters without creating runaway compounding.
